The course trains learners on how to utilize their existing knowledge and expand their existing understanding of the usage of IPv6, and how the new protocol influences the design and operation of the service provider core. The course provides an overview of service provider technologies with the extension of IPv6 and focuses on practical examples. The majority of the course covers configuration and troubleshooting of a service provider network built from the ground up with the use of Cisco IOS XR Software focusing on OSPF, BGP, 6PE, 6VPE, and multicast.
