My Knowledge

I’ve been a networking engineer involved in the broader data center domain almost from the start of my career. You will gain a fundamental understanding (and not just facts) of the underlying networking mechanisms and services.

I try to explain the same concept from different approaches and perspectives and integrate knowledge from different lessons to gain a more profound understanding of the matter.

As an example, think for a moment about networking services separated into individual TCP/IP stack layers. How do they work together and what are the implications? What does this have to do with the OS, that is how are those services implemented in real life?

Life Outside of Work

I enjoy tweaking and driving “old” Saab cars. By the way, Saab never really gets old.

I have a deep passion for the fundamentals of operating systems, computer architecture, computer communications, and networking.

I enjoy reading about the history and evolution of computing and getting hands-on experience with retro computers and communications and networking hardware.
