The Cisco Prime Carrier Management Operator (CPCMO) v1.0 is a 5-day lab-intensive instructor-led course that introduces the learners to the operational aspects of Cisco Prime Carrier Management using three Cisco Prime applications: Cisco Prime Central, Cisco Prime Network, and Cisco Prime Provisioning.
Cisco Prime Carrier Management is a comprehensive suite of applications that simplifies the lifecycle management of carrier-grade networks and services. This solution simplifies and unifies the network by automating the service lifecycle (design, fulfillment, assurance, and analysis). Cisco Prime Carrier Management provides end-to-end management, from access to the data center, helping to enable carrier-class delivery of voice, video, mobile, cloud, and managed services.
The CPCMO course introduces the learner to using the various suite applications to view the physical and logical aspects of the network and its devices, configure and fulfill a network service using predefined policies, and assure and analyze the configured service.
This course combines lecture materials and hands-on labs throughout to make sure that the learner understands how to use the suite to manage service lifecycles.

NOTE: This course does not include administrative topics on Cisco Prime Carrier Management, such as user management, adding devices, service policy creation, and customizing features.

The course is available only as a private group training (up to 12 people).

Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
  • Describe the function of each management application in the Cisco Prime Carrier Management suite
  • Access, understand, and navigate the tasks of each management application
  • Assess the network by viewing the topology, physical and logical service inventories, and device configurations
  • Fulfill a network service
  • Assure the proper creation of the network service and analyze its behavior
