The Cisco IOS XR System Administration (IOSXR200) v1.0 is a 3-day instructor-led course that introduces learners to the knowledge and skill sets required to perform various system administration duties using Cisco IOS XR Software in a typical network environment. The course teaches the fundamental concepts on which the operating system is based so that learners understand how to carry out necessary administration functions.

When delivered online, as a virtual-instructor-led training (VILT), the course duration is extended to 4 days.

Prerequisite Knowledge

The knowledge and skills that a learner should possess before attending this course are as follows:
  • Knowledge that can be gained by attending the Introduction to Cisco IOS XR (IOSXR100) course or equivalent hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco IOS XR–based routers
  • Basic knowledge of the architecture and operations of Cisco IOS XR–based routers
  • Fundamental knowledge of Cisco IOS XR configuration and operation
  • Knowledge of general routing concepts
