Cisco wireless technology growth places increased demands on networks and the professionals that support them. Ensuring that this technology is optimally configured, deployed, and supported is paramount to achieving business outcomes and requires a workforce of skilled wireless professionals. The updated Cisco CCNP Wireless certification validates Cisco wireless LAN configuration, deployment, security, and troubleshooting skills for optimal performance of Cisco Wireless networks.

New CCNP Wireless certification track overview

The new Cisco CCNP Wireless certification provides the skills needed to enable secure and reliable wireless infrastructures for a highly interconnected world of real-time information and choice. It consists of training and certification exams that address the needs of Cisco wireless network professionals and those who are planning to build, assess, and continually reinforce Cisco wireless technology expertise throughout the spectrum of their career.

The CCNP Wireless certification training and exams have been restructured and the content has been redistributed across all certification courses. As a result, there are 4 new training and certification exams available:

The new CCNP Wireless courses reinforce the instruction by providing students with hands-on labs to ensure students thoroughly understand how to configure and deploy the new Cisco AireOS v8.0, Cisco IOS XE v3.6, Cisco Prime Infrastructure v2.2, and Cisco ISE v1.3.
