Cisco announced the updated version of the Configuring Cisco Nexus 7000 Switches (DCNX7K) and the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches (DCNX5K) courses.
Updates overview
- Configuring Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches (DCNX5K) v3.0: After the version 2.1, this is the fourth iteration of the DCNX5K course, with approximately 20 % difference of course structure, labs, and content from the previous version. The new version includes features available in Cisco NX-OS Software Release 7.0(2)N1(1) for Nexus. An important difference is also a focus on lab-work, as almost half of student’s overall class time is expected to be spent performing labs. Read more about course content and available dates.
- Configuring Cisco Nexus 7000 Switches (DCNX7K) v3.0: This course is updated to reflect the new Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switch hardware and includes coverage of new features introduced in Cisco NX-OS 6.2. Read more about course content and available dates.
Both DCNX5K v3.0 and DCNX7K v3.0 are product-focused trainings, which means that with the release of new features or hardware, additional modules or lessons will be developed rapidly and included as addendums or inclusions to the material to ensure that the courses are kept up-to-date.
