Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) is a vendor-neutral designation that showcases the most advanced skills in enterprise Wi-Fi technologies. There are currently fewer than 270 elite CWNE experts in the world.

Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) is the highest-level certification in the vendor-neutral CWNP wireless career certification program. CWNE validates the expert level skills in designing, installing, securing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise grade IEEE 802.11 wireless (Wi-Fi) networks. In addition, the designation also validates the real-world application of the Wi-Fi knowledge in customers’ environments.

We are proud to announce that our wireless expert and instructor Maja Podbevšek successfully completed all of the requirements for CWNE and achieved this elite wireless title. She is the 262nd CWNE-certified expert in the world (190 CWNEs are from America, 44 from EMEA, and 29 from the APAC region).

“Engineering expertise and its successful application in solving complex business challenges are key drivers of NIL’s competitive advantage. Talent development is, therefore, of extreme importance to NIL and we are especially proud when our efforts result in the professional and personal growth of our employees. I sincerely congratulate Maja for achieving the respected CWNE title and would also thank her for all of the hard work that contributed to the highest customer satisfaction with NIL’s wireless projects,” commented Uroš Strnišnik, Technical Director, NIL.

CWNEs have typically spent years training and working in the wireless industry and have a proven track record of accomplishments and contributions to the field. To achieve CWNE certification, candidates have to pass four certification exams (CWNA, CWSP, CWDP, and CWAP), successfully demonstrate their knowledge in commercial wireless LAN deployments, and have three recommendations as well as a peer review by the CWNE Board of Advisors.
